It has been a very long hunt for me to find a pan that could be used for sautee, or browning potatoes etc..as most of the Non stick doesn't do this trick. I got this pan for a deal in Amazon for $18.00, and wanted to see if this is really good. Believe me! It is the Best one I possess till now..It took me some time to understand the feature of this anodized material..But once I understood it, it's fab!.
For best results, place your pan in Medium- Medium heat, pour a little dab of oil and season with salt and put the things to saute. You can get quick results because of it's intense heating material and cleaning is also trouble free. Just pour some water and after 2 mins, you will be able to wipe it off clean.
To point out the disadvantage, would be it's bulkiness in a small kitchen.Other than that, it serves all the purposes of saute, stir fry and what not!. It is great for simmering fluids too, and because of it's wide area, simmering process is faster.
Needless to say, it is the best in the market and Iam greatly happy with my purchase.( It requires little bit of understanding about Anodized properties, because I thought of returning the pan in it's initial days).I Own this pan for more than a year now, and it's brand new still, calling me every now and then, to cook something wonderful in it!
I Love my pan...and you will too!..Do watch out for the sale and grab one today!

This is the perfect pan whether you are a gormet cook or just want to brown some ground beef and serve manwiches or hamburger helper. Nothing sticks and it is amazing.
Instead of getting the farberware sets like my friends were getting for their weddings, I didn't register for cookware. I bought this paella pan, a 2.5-qt saucepan and the short and wide stockpot from Calphalon. I didn't wash them in the dishwasher and all have held up well. I'm back at Amazon today to get some more calphalon cleanser. Amazing how this product is a quality product and I fully expect it to last a lifetime.
We are a family of five and definitely give this pan an A+

I asked for (and received) the 10 pc hard anodized set years ago and have used it since. While visiting family in 2007, we made gorgeous golden pancakes in this pan and I knew I had to have one of my own - I didn't have anything this large in my arsenal.
** As a professional cook, I am particular about my cookware, so I expected a lot from this piece - large surface area, even heating, stovetop to oven capability, oven-safe to at least 400 degrees, good browning on meats and veg, easy clean-up, stay cool handles, a lid, and rivets where the handles are joined to the pan and its lid.
What a tremendous value for the money, with a "naturally" non-stick surface if you treat it well. As other reviewers have noted, don't overheat it. In case no else mentioned it - don't use non-stick spray on it as it seems to make the surface tacky and changes it. A little oil, butter, or an oil mister are good options. I put a little warm water into the pan while it's still hot
(similar to deglazing it) and let it cook itself clean, then later I run warm soapy water and a gentle scrubber sponge over it, dry it and put it away. If you let water sit in it, it will dry with white spots and/or streaks (as will all my Calphalon).
This will likely be the pan you reach for every day, and it delivers, every time.
I use this pan for stir fries, skillet-to-oven cornbread, sautéing meat, pasta tosses and much more. It handles it all. You may find you can replace other pans and even your wok with this workhorse. Do yourself a favor and try one - remember to get one as a gift or someone you love may try to talk you out of yours! :)

I haven't received this item yet. It has already appeared on my credit card bill, though. I just wrote to the seller asking whether it had been shipped. How do I get my money back?

I purchased this pan a few years ago - still in use, but from day one the pan has not been a favorite because of food sticking to it. The pan is solid and will last and at $30 the price is nice too (I hope nobody every paid the list price for this pan $150+...ouch).
