The eighth and final season of Will & Grace begins with a live episode and ends with a bittersweet finale that gives the disgruntled characters some hard-earned closure. At its heart, the sitcom isn't about a gay man and his best friend. It's about two friends who need each other as much as they think they do, who are unable to break away from each other--even if that means putting their relationships with others at risk. As selfish as the characters on Seinfeld and as chatty as the ones on Friends, Will (Eric McCormack), Grace (Debra Messing), Jack (Sean Hayes), and Karen (Megan Mullaly) are as obnoxious as they are lovable. And the actors who play them share warm chemistry, which makes even the meanest digs come across as acceptable. This final season ends with each of the main characters partnered up with their true loves; and it feels right, even if it's not what viewers may be expecting. Two of the 23 episodes--which originally aired during the 2005-2006 season on NBC--are live. While it's fun to watch the actors occasionally flub their lines or laugh at each other's antics, the episodes are not the strongest of the bunch.
The final season actually gets off to an uneven start before picking up steam about a third of the way in. Featured guest stars include a hilarious Alec Baldwin reprising his role as secret agent Malcolm, who has fallen in love with Karen. He utters sweet nothings to her such as, "When I kill myself, it's going to be for real. And I'm taking you with me." Other high-profile guest stars includes Taye Diggs as a hot romantic interest for Will, Britney Spears as Jack's on-air nemesis, Wanda Sykes as a cosmetic counter girl who Karen convinces to be her baby mama, and Daryl Hall & John Oates as, well, Oates & Hall (as they've renamed themselves). There is a wedding, an annulment, at least two children born to the primary four and the possibility of a happily ever after scenario. The show ended at a good time: not quite at its peak but at least a season or two before you just wouldn't care anymore. But here, there are many moments that tug at your heart or make you laugh out loud. In one vignette, Karen looks on incredulously as Grace allows herself to be bullied into hiring an inept Iranian woman who uses her ethnicity to intimidate all around her. She's also as useless as Karen in getting anything done to help her boss. Tsk-tsking Grace's hiring decision after the new hiree destroys some of Grace's interior designs, Karen says, "I was just sitting there cleaning my gun thinking, 'This is an office!'" It's not the line she says that makes it so funny, but Mullaly's perfect delivery. Like the other cast members, she knows her character so well that she breathes life into even the simplest lines. --Jae-Ha Kim

I love Will and Grace! The price was fantastic. You can't find it cheaper new.

This was a great show, but not this season, I felt it was a little boring and it didn't have the hillarious comments of Karen an Rosario (which was sick so she didn't appear in all the episodes) I'm glad the series is over, before all fans stopped seeing it.

I have not completed the entire season as yet, but It is all slowly coming to an end. I missed a few episodes when it was still on air, so it is nice to wrap up the "WaG" series with all consecutive episodes. The live episodes are sure to give you an extra laugh, as the cast desperately tries not to laugh and screw up their lines on camera.
All in all, It has been 8 wonderful seasons, and sadly all good things must come to an end.

This one probably has the most laughs of any of them. I really like season 6, but this is close.
I also think the DVD menu is the easiest to use on this set. It flows much better and is layed out much better. I give it 5 out of 5. If you liked Will and Grace, you gotta own this.

Cunard Line has announced that its new
85,000-ton cruise ship, which is scheduled to enter service in 2008, will be
named Queen Victoria. Based in Southampton, England, the Cunard Queen Victoria will be
the second largest Cunard Queen ever built. Together with the current flagship,
Queen Elizabeth 2, and Queen Mary 2, the biggest passenger liner ever, the
Cunard fleet will include three Queens for the first time – truly the most
famous ocean liners in the world.

Queen Victoria will enter service in the company’s 165th anniversary and will
operate cruises to and from Southampton to the Mediterranean, the Canaries,
Northern Europe, the Caribbean, and South America. The 1,968-passenger vessel
will feature a covered wraparound promenade deck, a forward-facing observation
lounge, a large Lido pool with a retractable magrodome, and 10 of the12
passenger decks will be served by exterior glass-walled lifts. Like QE2 and QM2,
the liner will have a Queens Grill, offering single-seating gourmet dining.
There will also be a unique Colonial Restaurant on Deck 11 with spectacular
panoramic views.
Queen Victoria cruises will offer a wide range of
accommodations, large standard outside cabins (170 square feet) and a high
percentage of balcony cabins (67%), thereby bringing new levels of luxury and
choice to passengers preferring to depart from a European port. Cruise

tastes and the currency will be sterling. Queen Victoria will fly the red
ensign; she will have the name of her home port, Southampton, on her stern, and

In design terms the cruise Cunard Queen Victoria will have an undeniably British feel with two British design
teams being responsible for the interior of the Cunard Queen Victoria.
Queen Victoria is being built at Italy’s Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, near
Venice, with her keel laid on July 12, 2003. One of the most technically
advanced shipbuilders in the world, Fincantieri has built more than 7,000
vessels, including many for Cunard’s parent Carnival Corporation. Originally
ordered as the fifth in a series of five 'Vista' class ships for sister company
Holland America, the contact was signed over to Cunard before the keel was laid
and Holland America then ordered a further ship for delivery in 2006.

No cruise schedules have yet been
announced. Her float out is scheduled for May 2007, prior to
