I have been reading the "pinch test" is the most accurate way to measure your body fat. So, I decided to try it because I really had no idea if increasing my weight training was helping me burn fat at all. After doing this test a few months into my training I was able to see the fat was coming off and it helped me find new drive to do more. Easy to use on ones self. I'm just not sure I'm using it correctly as my readings are rather low. Everybody says my readings should be rather low but my BMI would suggest a much higher body fat percentage. Maybe people are right and my high muscle content is throwing off the BMI.
I suppose an immersion test is the only way to confirm that I'm using the calipers correctly.

Assessing your body fat is an accurate method of determining your level of fitness and health.
This caliper is small and convenient. However, there are pitfalls. As you squeeze your skin fold, there is some variability from one measurement to the next due to its light construction. It is not durable over time with repetetive use and I question its validity beyond a 1 year time interval. Mine broke a little over 15 months at the 'hinge' opposite to the slide rule.

Cunard Line has announced that its new
85,000-ton cruise ship, which is scheduled to enter service in 2008, will be
named Queen Victoria. Based in Southampton, England, the Cunard Queen Victoria will be
the second largest Cunard Queen ever built. Together with the current flagship,
Queen Elizabeth 2, and Queen Mary 2, the biggest passenger liner ever, the
Cunard fleet will include three Queens for the first time – truly the most
famous ocean liners in the world.

Queen Victoria will enter service in the company’s 165th anniversary and will
operate cruises to and from Southampton to the Mediterranean, the Canaries,
Northern Europe, the Caribbean, and South America. The 1,968-passenger vessel
will feature a covered wraparound promenade deck, a forward-facing observation
lounge, a large Lido pool with a retractable magrodome, and 10 of the12
passenger decks will be served by exterior glass-walled lifts. Like QE2 and QM2,
the liner will have a Queens Grill, offering single-seating gourmet dining.
There will also be a unique Colonial Restaurant on Deck 11 with spectacular
panoramic views.
Queen Victoria cruises will offer a wide range of
