Feel like you just went to the dentist, every day! View larger. | New Brush Heads for Better Cleaning The FlexCare uses the newly designed ProResults brush heads with increased tooth coverage and a broader sweeping motion that results in better plaque removal. Combined with Sonicare's sonic technology, the high-speed bristle action allows a powerful yet gentle cleaning action that ensures a deep cleaning between teeth and along the gum line. With a slim, angled neck, the FlexCare makes it is easy to access hard-to-reach areas of the mouth. The ProResults brush heads come in two sizes: "standard" for a regular cleaning, and "mini" for precision in hard-to-reach areas.
The toothbrush handle also has a new tapered design that is easier to grip, and with a non-slip soft grip for better control. Compared to the Sonicare Elite, the FlexCare is 30 percent smaller, 16 percent lighter, and has 80 percent less vibration, but achieves superior results.
Multiple Cleaning Modes The FlexCare offers maximum flexibility with your teeth cleaning. There are three two-minute brushing modes that offer "Clean" mode for full power and optimal cleaning, "Sensitive" mode for gentler brushing in sensitive areas, and "Massage" mode for a stimulating, soothing cleaning action.
The FlexCare also offers two routines: "GoCare" is a quick one-minute routine for between regular brushings, and "MaxCare" is a three-minute cleaning mode that combines two minutes of "Clean" mode with one minute of "Massage" mode.
Thanks to the FlexCare's Quadpacer, the toothbrush beeps every thirty seconds to let you know it is time to move on to the next quadrant of your mouth. The brush also features a Smartimer that automatically shuts off the toothbrush after the recommended two minutes of cleaning (unless using the MaxCare routine).

The FlexCare is clinically proven to remove significantly more plaque than Oral-B Sonic Complete. |
New ProResults brush heads have increased coverage for more plaque removal. | And for first-time users of FlexCare, an "easy-start" feature allows you to work your way up to full strength by gently increasing the power over your first 14 uses.
Long Lasting Battery With a lithium ion battery, you don't have to worry about running out of power when you're traveling; with regular brushing, the FlexCare lasts up to two weeks between charges! Lithium ion technology offers more energy and is more environmentally safe as compared to other rechargeable battery technologies. A deluxe recharge gauge on the handle keeps you notified of the amount of charge left.
The Sonicare FlexCare R910 is backed by a 2-year warranty.
What's in the Box: Sonicare toothbrush, one ProResults standard brush head, deluxe charger with cord wrap and brush head storage, luxury soft travel case, hygienic travel cap, three additional color code rings.

I've had this toothbrush since June, 2008. I bought it when my old Sonicare's battery died. I had the old Sonicare for 3 years and liked it very much--it did an excellent job cleaning my teeth.
Unfortunately, this new Sonicare does not seem to clean my teeth as well as the old one, especially where two teeth meet and up by the gums. I think this is because of the brush shape. It seems too rounded for my teeth and the bristles on the edges of the brush seem too short. I get my ... Read More

This model uses a lithium ion battery (the HealthyWhite also uses Li-ion). This is the reason I chose this product over oral B or the other cheaper sonicare models. All the Oral-B models that I could find used either NiCad (toxic) or nickel-metal-hydride (NiMH). Previous experience with NiMH batteries that they wear out quickly. And since you cannot replace the batteries in rechargeable toothbrushes, I didn't want to have to purchase another one in 2 years. I've had very good luck with Li-ion ... Read More

this is my first automatic toothbrush so i can't compare it with another one. i have no complaints about it. it was recommended by my dentist to help me clean my teeth better, especially in the back because i had borderline periodontal diseases and pockets in my gums. i've been using it for a few months (with the compact head on sensitive mode) and in addition to using listerine and flossing, my dentist told me there was dramatic improvement with the health of my gums and teeth. so i think it works. ... I have had this brust for over a month now and it does a better job than oral B. There is less chances of it damaging the gums since it is pressure sensitive and excessive pressure to the brush will cause it to stop.
Only negative is that the large brush head just doesn't get into the narrow corners. Will try the compact head to see how it works.
Overall a great product.

This is a great toothbrush. I bought them for everyone for Christmas. Don't waste your money on lesser brands. This one is expensive but worth it.
