Amazon.com Product Description:

Seventh Generation Bathroom Tissue is made from 100% recycled paper, with a minimum of 80% post-consumer materials. Whitened with an environmentally safe process--never with chlorine bleach--this tissue is the healthy choice for your family and your environment.

Made from 100% Recycled Chlorine-Free Paper
By choosing Seventh Bathroom Tissue, you'll be making an important environmental difference immediately. These paper towels are not whitened with chlorine and are made from 100% recycled paper (80% post-consumer, 20% pre-consumer). Hypo-allergenic, unbleached, fragrance-free, and made without dyes or inks, this tissue paper is safe for septic systems and ideal for low-flow toilets.

Post-consumer paper is paper that has been recycled at home or at the office. Buying post-consumer paper helps finish the job you started--of saving the earth's natural resources, including trees, water, and energy. And using products made from post-consumer recycled materials helps reduce the need for virgin wood pulp, which means more trees are left standing. Trees naturally absorb carbon dioxide--a greenhouse gas that's the primary contributor to global warming. In fact, a single tree, over its lifetime, absorbs about one tone of CO2. To put it another way, a ton of recycled paper saves seventeen trees.

If every household in the U.S. replaced just one roll of 500 sheet virgin fiber bathroom tissue with 100% recycled ones, we could save 448,000 trees, 1.1 million cubic feet of landfill space (equal to 1,700 full garbage trucks), and 161 million gallons of water, which is a year's supply for 1,270 families of four!

About Seventh Generation
Seventh Generation offers a complete line of natural household products designed to work as well as their traditional counterparts, but use renewable, non-toxic, phosphate-free, and biodegradable ingredients as often as possible, and are never tested on animals. Seventh Generation products are healthy and safe for the air, the surfaces, the pets, and the people in your home--and for the environment outside of it. Every time you use Seventh Generation products you make a difference by saving natural resources, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment, and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Could be softer, yes, but think of what you're saving!
I agree, it's not Charmin. But really, who needs virgin tissue for, ahem, your rear end? I'm buying my second case today because I have been really happy with this product. Every time I unwrap a roll, I think about the little difference I'm making for my son, and all the other generations that will come after him. Enough said, I think. A very good (not perfect!) toilet tissue, you don't end up changing the roll every other day, and you're helping save a few trees every time you pee! Good enough ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best way to be good to the environment
I've been a fan of Seventh Generation products, especially their toilet tissue, for some time now. When I've run out and had to pick up some of those "regular" brands I was always so disappointed in the feel and quality. Not only is this toilet tissue a great way to be good to the environment (think about HOW MUCH t.p. your household uses in a year), it's just an overall great product. So happy that I found it in bulk on Amazon!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I can't feel the difference
Either I've lucked out or other people had just obtained mis-manufactured packages! I don't feel if this toilet paper feels any rougher. It feels perfectly fine to me. Happy with how the product is manufactured, I will continue buying it and other Seventh Generation products.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - And I'll keep buying it!
This is the second case of Seventh Generation bathroom tissue I have purchased for my family and I plan on continuing to buy it in the future! The quality is great and, although I have read in some other reviews that the texture is not to everyone's liking, I find it more than acceptable. Best of all, it is a product that makes the environmentally-friendly option practical for all of us.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Surprisingly soft eco-friendly bathroom tissue!
I'm typically one to go with the cheap brands when it comes to toilet paper. Marcal or Scott's, whichever is cheaper. I'm not one to be picky about toilet paper. I'll admit the softer brands are really nice, but they are more expensive and the roll runs out really quick. Now I ordered Seventh Generation bathroom tissue not because of softness or price, but because I was interested in trying out an eco-friendly alternative and with Amazon Subscribe & Save I will never run out of the necessities ... Cunard Line has announced that its new 85,000-ton cruise ship, which is scheduled to enter service in 2008, will be named Queen Victoria. Based in Southampton, England, the Cunard Queen Victoria will be the second largest Cunard Queen ever built. Together with the current flagship, Queen Elizabeth 2, and Queen Mary 2, the biggest passenger liner ever, the Cunard fleet will include three Queens for the first time – truly the most famous ocean liners in the world.   Queen Mary 2 Cruises

Cruise Queen Victoria will enter service in the company’s 165th anniversary and will operate cruises to and from Southampton to the Mediterranean, the Canaries, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, and South America. The 1,968-passenger vessel will feature a covered wraparound promenade deck, a forward-facing observation lounge, a large Lido pool with a retractable magrodome, and 10 of the12 passenger decks will be served by exterior glass-walled lifts. Like QE2 and QM2, the liner will have a Queens Grill, offering single-seating gourmet dining. There will also be a unique Colonial Restaurant on Deck 11 with spectacular panoramic views.

Queen Victoria, Cunard Cruise Line

Queen Victoria cruises will offer a wide range of accommodations, large standard outside cabins (170 square feet) and a high percentage of balcony cabins (67%), thereby bringing new levels of luxury and choice to passengers preferring to depart from a European port.  Cruise Queen Victoria!   Low Priced Web Hosting

The on-board menus, entertainment and lecture program will be geared to British tastes and the currency will be sterling. Queen Victoria will fly the red ensign; she will have the name of her home port, Southampton, on her stern, and she will have a British Captain and Officers.   In design terms the cruise Cunard Queen Victoria will have an undeniably British feel with two British design teams being responsible for the interior of the Cunard Queen Victoria.

Queen Victoria is being built at Italy’s Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, near Venice, with her keel laid on July 12, 2003. One of the most technically advanced shipbuilders in the world, Fincantieri has built more than 7,000 vessels, including many for Cunard’s parent Carnival Corporation. Originally ordered as the fifth in a series of five 'Vista' class ships for sister company Holland America, the contact was signed over to Cunard before the keel was laid and Holland America then ordered a further ship for delivery  in 2006.   Enjoy a Cruise on Queen Victoria.  The lead ship in the series, Zuiderdam, entered service in December 2002.

No cruise schedules have yet been announced. Her float out is scheduled for May 2007, prior to her delivery in March 2008.She is scheduled to enter service in April 2008.
