Editorial Review:

Amazon.com Product Description:
Big, bold and masculine, the Invicta Quartz Pro Diver S2 is an affordable luxury watch with classically styled features. This precisely constructed timepiece for men features a solid stainless steel case that's 39.9mm wide (1.57 inches). It has a black face with Tritnite luminous hands and markers and a unidirectional black bezel with white numerals and markings. Other features include anti-reflective mineral crystal, date display at 3 o'clock, and water resistance to 200 meters. The highly polished stainless steel band has a fold over clasp with safety.

An automatic watch is a mechanical watch that is self-winding. the movement of your wrist and body causes the rotor--a weight attached to an automatic winding mechanism--to wind up the watch. This automatic watch has 21 jewels, which are ruby stones that the gears turn on to protect the metal parts from grinding together. An automatic watch needs no battery, but it will stop if now worn for over a day or if you have been physically inactive for an extended period of time. If this happens, wind the crown ten times clockwise to start the watch and give it some reserve power.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Dissapointed
We were very dissapointed with this watch. When I first saw it online, I really thought my husband would like it. But from the time he put it on his wrist, he was unhappy with it. It is a very heavy watch and was constantly running fast. He never knew what the correct time was. When he took it off for the day and went to put it on the next morning, it had stopped. He then had to reset the time, every morning.
Over all: good looks, bad performance

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - The go-to watch
The Invicta Diver 8926 is a bargin!!! I've been a fan of the Rolex Submariner for years, and this watch truely has that "look". Actually, I've had people ask me if it is the Rolex. I really am impressed with the quality. It is much more than I expected for a $100 AUTOMATIC watch and it looks, feels, and (sort-of) acts like a thousand dollar watch, or even almost like a $5000 Rolex Submariner. Ok, the only "con" I find about this watch is that it does run about a minute fast/ per week. It has ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - I hate automatic watches now!
If you don't wear the watch every day, it'll die on you after about a week of not wearing it. I know this is the nature of the automatic watch but was not aware that it was so annoying.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Handmade swiss automatic for under $100?
Invicta makes the highest quality entry-level watches on the market. The steel band is as heavy as any I've found and despite my clumsy nature the crystal has remained scratch free for the past two years.

The Japanese automatic movement in this watch is obviously not as precise as swiss counterparts. I charted my watches performance against the US Navy Master Clock for about a month and on average it gains about 7 seconds per day. So I do have to roll the dial back every few weeks, but ... Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - An absolutele fantastic value!
I love this watch; the quality, looks, and performance are far beyond what I would expect for a watch at this price.
